Literature Text

He had harbor beam bones that splintered like gasps

Anchor-hung lungs that sank him down into the deep

Until minnows lacerated his fingertips

Until shark jaws kissed his jugular
Until sand corroded his veins

Until he drifted like a buoy

Wondering if he was the first person to ever walk over a sea of broken glass

Just for the pleasure of it

Another re-visit to a poem with a great concept, but a bad depiction of the actual topic. I like how this came out.
